The project goals included restoring flood flow capacity, and riparian corridor and creek restoration.  The scope included rerouting the creek flows, slope restoration, construction of riffle/pool systems, and revegation.   The project was so successful that the client enhanced the area with trails and educational signage.

Stonybrook

The project involved restoring steelhead migration, creek restoration, culvert rehabilitation, and constructing a new bridge.  Work was performed in very steep terrain with slopes exceeding 10%.

Miller Knox

Miller Knox Regional Park


We rebuilt about half of this regional park by constructing 5 new bathrooms, drinking water fountains, shower, installing over 5,000 feet of water line, restoring pond shoreline, constructing walk ways and several gardens, and 4 acres of grading and new sod.

Landslide Removal & Repair

Landslide Removal, Slope Stabilization, & Road Repair


Park and radio tower service road and culverts were rebuilt due to a landslide.  All work was performed in ecologically sensitive habitat under constant supervision by biologists to avoid impact to endangered species, including red legged frogs and California Tiger Salamander.

Kellogg Creek

Kellogg Creek, Deer Creek, and Los Vaqueros Reservoir


We restored several thousand feet of creek and riparian habitat along with creating about 10 acres of upland habitat. At the reservoir we constructed a 300 foot public stair case down to fishing piers.

The project goals included restoring flood flow capacity, riparian corridor restoration, and steelhead migration.  The scope included rerouting the creek flows, demolition of large concrete energy dissipators, slope restoration, construction of riffle/pool systems, and revegation.

Bair Island Trail

Bair Island Trail


We built 2,000 feet of bay trail along the margin of the San Francisco Bay.  Job challenges included reconstructing portions of the trail below high tide, rainy winter months, two king tide events, work atop a narrow muddy levee, and pickleweed habitat.  The completed project included benches and other park amenities.
